The Windfarm comprises 149 WTG's with rated a capacity of 550MW. Three 132/33kV Substations, Balance of Plant, STATCOMs and Harmonic Filters.
Sol Systems completed the testing and commissioning of all primary and secondary plant and system.

Cape Lambert Power Station & 220kV CLBSS Substation
Client : ABB & RCR (for Rio Tinto Iron Ore)
Location : Western Australia
June to December 2017
Expansion of RTIO's existing 220kV Cape Lambert substation to include two LM6000 PF SPRINT OCGT 65MVA Generator units.
CLPS was connected to the RTIO network via two 220/11kV power transformers & 220kV GIS switchgear.
ABB undertook the integration and modification of existing substation systems, acceptance testing and commissioning.

Rapid Earth Fault Current Limiter Upgrade (REFCL)

As part of the REFCL program it was a requirement for HV customers were adequately protected from the newly installed Rapid Earth Fault Limiters. The solution involved 22/22kV isolation kiosks with a power transformer and associated protection and control schemes.
EPT undertook design review co-ordination, Factory & Site Acceptance Testing & commissioning.
